Newsletter: A Note from the Executive Director

A note from ED.jpg

As I look back on this year, I can’t help but reflect - with immense gratitude - on your continued support. This year has been one of uncertainty and the Caring House community has truly risen to the occasion. Yet, our misson remains vital. Our guests rely on a clean “home away from home” more than ever before. As we continue our work to support Duke Cancer Institute patients and make sure the house is safe for all who enter, I ask that you consider making a year-end gift of any amount today. Quite simply, your gift enhances the lives of cancer patients going through rigorous treatment protocols, as well as provides peace of mind to their worried family and friends. I know we are all feeling the stress of isolation during this holiday season, but if this year has proven anything, it is our ability to support each other in ways previously unimaginable. I would like to congratulate and thank the Caring House community for such an accomplishment. I wish you and your loved ones a very happy and safe holiday season. I look forward to seeing what we can achieve together during our “Stay at Home” Gala and throughout 2021.
